Testing my new D750

As I was mentioning in my last post on UHH I went and brought a D750 instead of the D500. Thank you all for contributing with advice and information.
So, I finally took the new toy for a spin. Had the pleasure of shooting a couple of days with my kids, and a cool DJ party where friends of mine were playing.

By all means, please, I am not making a post about whats better, I just want to say I am happy with the decision. For me it is a huuuuge difference, and I honestly just fell in love. I can see the difference from my D7100.
The things it let me do at the DJ party in that dark place was a mind blowing. I managed to shoot photos @ISO 64-12800 with satisfying results. For my standards it has just become the top-noch :).
Overall , straight out of the camera the pictures where looking better then before. What I clearly see is the clean result both in low and hi ISO. The lens 24-120mm seems to be pretty sharp. But I'm sure I can do it even better. Did not had the time to try everything. But for now I can already point the fact that I do feel the real jump into FX and the D750. Knowing what I know about using digital cameras and understanding the functions and how to use them, tell me that I was not wrong when I felt I grew up from the D7100, and It was not just me. My quest for quality picture result seems to be at max now. I just the the new Toy. Can't wait to get it out to work some more.

So I present you some of my effort on the first run with my D750.
Had the pleasure of shooting a couple of days with my kids my kids, followed by a DJ party where friends of mine were playing.

So I am presenting you my two sons who were for once willing to stand still so daddy can play with his toy :D, and some that I took at a the party.
All pictures are taken from raw files on LR, and carefully adjusted. Nothing special , the usual, highlight&shadows, wb, noise reduction, cropping, contrast... depending.
I was trying to make both some nice pictures , but at the same time getting the real feel on the new camera. So here is lots of room for improvement.

Those are some great looking photos of your sons. The D750 vs D500. Both have very good IQ. The D750 need not play 2ND Fiddle to the D500. However the D500 is the best DX camera now. I've discovered many bought the D500 while owning the D750 or D810. Two toys. Raw files on LR turned out very good.

thank you very much all :) .

I know about the DX king now :) and I've seen enough to understand that the D500 is a grate cemera. Unfortunately I can only own one body in this price range. So i fell on D750 and dont regret it.
