Iris-as a remembrance to my neighbors

Across the street lived a very nice couple who loved to garden and always had the most beautiful flowers. She passed away a couple of years ago and he last year. The house is up for sale and who knows who the new owners will be and what will happen to what is left of their flowers. So I grabbed my camera and headed across the street to take a few photos of the iris in the front yard. I know everyone has seen enough iris photos for this spring but I hope you can stand one more.

Thank you Mr and Mrs Hall for all the flowers I watched bloom every year.

Very pretty Dodie, and what very sweet way of remembering them. I bet they are smiling. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for taking the time to look and comment. I, too, hope I have new neighbors that like to garden and will make it as beautiful as it was. I really regret not taking the time to take more photos of their yard when they were putting so much effort into it.

Thanks again!!

I would go over there and dig up some of the ones you really like. Like you said don't know what the new owners will do and i'm sure that the neighbors would want you to have a memory.

That is a great idea but unfortunately, I don't have a garden to put them in and I'm sure the real estate company would frown on my taking them. Thank you for looking and for the suggestion.
