Electricity comes from Carbon burning power plants. Most energy is lost in transmission to your house. This may be a great car, but don't buy it to save the planet. David

My question is what is the net gain or loss. Does it cost more fossil fuel to generate the electricty than it saves. And or does it save more or less carbon footprint than a gasoline powered car. If there is a savings in money or not over fossil fuel. Does it cost more or less to buy it that a similliarly equiped car, if more, how log is the npay back period. To sum it all up, Is it worth it?

Isn't it somehow ironic that "greenies", who claim to love all things "green", abhor all that CO2 that plants absolutely need to grow and live.
