I love the girl on the left. You've engaged her and she's a beauty in motion. I'd like the crop off the girl at the right. I don't think she adds to the image at all. You've caught her expression in an awkward moment. Also, if you were to crop it brings in that biker on the other side of the street.

I have to agree with Sandra that her suggested crop would result in a cleaner, less "cluttered" image. Capturing a complex scene like this, with several different competing subjects, can certainly grab the viewer's interest, as does this, and plenty of "street" purists will object to any crop. I don't think that means it shouldn't be tried -- but that's up to Dave, of course. I think he has caught a strong photo of two strong women. I'd prefer a different caption, since I don't sense any relationship to St. Patrick's Day.

Thank you Sandra !!! I agree with everything you have commented on. I never gave it a thought to crop the girl on the right out, which is a good idea. I have done so and even though it is a totally different image I have also given it a different title. Thanks for your keen eye for the suggestion.

Thank you Richard for commenting. I also agree with the crop. I must have had tunnel vision without giving any thought for the crop. I do like the cropped version so much better.

Hi Dave ... Just checked the string & noticed the comments on concentrating on the girl on the left. I like that cropped photo but I like the original more. Both girls are similar in build and both are wearing boots. But the girl on the left looks very determined in her march down the street as she glances toward the other girl. The girl on the right is in her own space without regard to the person on her right. The download makes the comparison of the two attitudes very apparent. Both are fine photos, though.

Good catch...in spite of two pointedly chilling glances!
I'll bet you could feel your camera grow noticeably colder in your hand!

Really like the cropped version Dave. Even the guy lookin out the window from above the taxi has noticed the girl.
