I got a little camera mask for $100. The photos are not great, but hey I had fun! Now I want the big set up with flashes etc.!
However, no more than I dive, probably will be happy with camera mask!

The shark went on to give the eel quite the head butt, thought there might be a fight!

>>I got a little camera mask for $100.
What is a "camera mask"?
We just started scuba diving this year. I am particularly interested in doing video. I have so far used an Olympus camera which is rated only for 15 ft. Our plan is to remain above 50 ft. Below that the lighting is pretty poor. From what I have so far been told you really have to spend big bucks to have even minimally decent camera equipment. For the amount of diving we will get to do I can't justify spending that kind of money just for photographic equipment I only use under water.

p.s. Unfortunately the file I wanted to upload was too large.

I bought a Hydra HD Camera Mask 720P. It works really well and is easy to use. I bought mine used and paid half of the cost of a new one. If you search around you can probably find a better price than the one I have attached.
You will enjoy diving!
