I think it is some variety of brown sea slug. Very interesting specimen.

I agree it's probably a slug. Can we find out the size of the critter, at what depth of water, the equipment used and its' settings, and where this fine photo was taken? Thanks, and thanks for a fine photo. Mercer

This was in only about an inch of water and the slug was 3-4" long. I just took it with a Canon SX60. Info attached. I did do some underwater stuff that I will post soon. My first in a long time!
