I think the biggest disappointment for me is the OOF blobs caused by the use of a long lens on falling snow. There was lots of OOF space between me and that taconite hill. Still .. for me .. the way the snow accentuated the lines in the hill is magical. I'm an artsy fartsy type, though. Not everyone will get it.
I see massive potential with this image. The snow is distracting though.
I'd go back again (and again) and shoot it when it's not snowing.
Who ever said pointing an expensive camera at a slag heap etc. etc cant see beyond their nose.
