In an article on pay inequality, one of our national newspapers (the Daily Telegraph) told us:

"... public sector, where fewer than 40per cent of female civil servants are women"

Is it any wonder that pay inequality still persists?!!!

What is additionally funny (or sad) about this is that in today's "multigendered" PC world, it is completely possible for "less than 40 percent of female civil servants to be women."

Maybe, just maybe, there are fewer women who want to be civil servants? Kinda like very few women want mine coal, too!

You've gotta read it closely, David.

When you consider that this is supposed to be one our 'QUALITY' papers, one that the Headmaster of our sons Grammar School specifically named as good reading for the up coming generation of thinkers it shows just how far standards have slipped.

I don't take The Daily Telegraph any more, but my options are running out.

You had to read it twice or three times to catch it. Apparently the editors did not. Every good rag has its slips. When it slips when it comes to good grammar or spelling as our major media is like to do is when you have to really worry.

While funny, the typo leads to another thought: If a man undergoes the sex change process, but does not get the final operation to remove that dangling thing, will his friends think of him as a woman but not a female?

Worked in the mines with female coal miners. They could hold their own. One even chewed tobacco! No one messed with her. Eventuality had to leave, had a physical fight with boss, or so they said, not sure however ?...
