Yes, I agree, #2 is fantastic! I see the wasp is still hanging around the eggs. Do you know if it is waiting for a meal or laying it's own eggs in those eggs?

She may be waiting to lay her eggs onto (or into) just-hatched nymphs. Egg case may be too hard.
