Architectural interiors are tricky -- to get the exposure good enough for the dark shadows as well as the bright exterior showing through windows -- dealing with ambient light without sliding into weird color corrections. This is a subject ripe for technical discussion...

I am not familiar with Lightzone, what did the HDR look like prior to PP with that program?
Dealing with the blue cast of daylight vs the incandescent/florescent/who knows what temperature interior lighting is always a PP challenge. I sometimes use Viveza to desaturate the blue cast and bring the true color back to the proper white balance. Otherwise, multiple white balance layers with masking.

Here's the unprocessed shot. LightZone saved it. LightZone is a free - open source project - very powerful functions -- if you like zone-based editing and region adjustments -- it's great! Google the name for their site.
Very nicely done. I feel like I'm right there in the room. If I was house shopping this kitchen would sell me .. the unprocessed version would not. Nice job on the post processing. One itty bitty pic .. the corner of the cupboard is cut off. I would like to see some floor in front of it.
I picked up a book in a second hand store today that you might appreciate. The Name of the book is "From The Desk Of" ISBN is 0151337950, authors are Hal Drucker and Sid Lerner photography by Sing-Si Schwartz. The pages measure about 10 inches square. It is a book of desks of some 42 famous people with a full page print of their desks with the immediate area such as a window or bookshelf. There are lots of different lighting and angle challenges. I paid 50 cents for the copy I got, I see them on Amazon for less than a dollar.
