I was looking at this forum the other night and decided to really concentrate on getting good people shots at this festival. I usually just take lots of pictures of people and weed them out later. I did have my p&s rather than my Rebel but I tried different settings on it. Just wish I could remember them. Anyway, tips, criticism, whatever is welcome. I know I need some. Minimal editing done, but did crop some.

I really like the one of the girls playing in the river, so cute and so something my children would do.
I love the one of the children in the water!

that's one of my favorites too. The first one I didn't point out the dog in the child's lap in the stroller. That's what drew me to that one.
