We have a lot of these but haven't seen one like this as it seems he was almost clear. If you look you can see his eye inside head. Last night I spotted him on the wall inside my bedroom and near the ceiling. They are so small they can slip in around the door seal .Had to stand on a stool so was not very stable. Canon 7D with 100mm macro lens with 580 EX canon flash with O flash installed at full power. Not a good picture but better than expected from the position I had.

In your BEDROOM? Hmmm...

Interesting shot of a strange looking critter. Wonder if it's a young whatever-it-is and that accounts for the semi-transparent skin.

Considering the conditions under which you made the shot, it's pretty good!

I wonder if it's an albino? Definitely a great job given the conditions.

Yes feel sure it is as we have them every where. 'Got up this morning and it was gone. It was actually about the same size as most you see. I did no editing except crop.

That is definitely one very blonde reptile! Geckos usually do not have claw, but suction discs at the end of their toes. I had hoped that you might have confined it in a terrarium for future photography.

Hard to determine size. May I suggest, next opportunity, for scale, place a known object in photograph, such as a common coin.

He was about 3 and half inches long. We also have a good number of rusty lizards like the ones that live a good part of time on trunks of trees. After looking at it again maybe that is what he is. I think I see a skin pattern like they have. Been looking hoping it would show up again. The strange thing is I took several pictures getting within a few inches of him and using a flash it never moved.

Many lizards have no eyelids, and sleep with their eyes open.

This is probably a Mediterranean gecko from India. They have been brought here and multiplying rapidly in the southern states. They also like to get inside homes and are sold in India by jar full to control insects. They have no eyelids and wet their eyes with their tongue. The picture on internet looks like the one I photographed
