Pictures of the Digimax and a quick test shot taken with it a few minutes ago.
I got one of these when they first came out in 2003 because I could use regular batteries. This camera has not been available new for years. They are selling used for around $60.00

Yes, $60-$100 is what I've seen them going for on Amazon for the 3 they have. $50 takes this one.
We're using Canon SDll00's these days ourselves as compacts, also older models, but there is enough features on all of them to capture what needs to be captured and they have VIEWFINDERS! I've found that without one, the LCD screens are useless on a bright sunny day and for some reason, manufacturers aren't including them on newer compacts anymore.
