HDR Photography -- Before and After

Here is a before image of a dam on the Pitt river in northern California. No adjustments were made. Enlarging the dark side will indicate a tremendous amount of noise.

The after image was processed in Photomatix (3 images), ACR and PSCC. Due to the extreme noise I also used Nik Define to soften the noise.

This is an example of extreme contrast and where using HDR can be very useful.

THis is why HDR is so good if not overcooked!

Good job on the HDR. Just enough to bring out the color and details. Not overcooked. Made a big difference in your photo. Result is very nice. Have a GREAT DAY!
