A cool tree I happened upon while working on a project for Time Life with the legendary Larry Gatlin. This tree was right alongside the path we had to take get to our next location. This is near the peak of Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, TN.

The project is over, but it was an infomercial called Country Classics. If you ever stumble across the music infomercials that feature a collection of certain genres, Time Life owns the rights to all of those. All of the country, contemporary christian and gospel genres were shot here in Nashville and surrounding areas. I have been working with them on these projects since about 2003.

Don, this is really nice work and I agree with the previous comments, this is where HDR really shines.

Thanks Walt. I remember when I took this shot thinking, "this will never work!" since I was looking directly into the sun. Turned out to be one of my favorite shots.
