Everyone sometime in their life has to visit Queenstown. Its a photographer's paradise and the light is amazing. It was getting quite dark when I took this, no tripod but found a convenient wall to lean on. -2, 0, +2 ev. Photomatix, fairly conservative settings. Into Photoshop, orange filter to bring out the evening tones, cleaned up noise etc, Selective boost of contrast and brightness then into Topaz Detail to lift the yellow/greens and medium details. Final gentle unsharp mask and this is the result. All feedback welcome particularly brightness and contrast. (I have just recalibrated my screen ready to send off to print a book of humpback whale pics and things are looking a little darker than normal so it would be useful to get some feedback on how it looks on other people's monitors.)

My thanks in advance.

Peter

I love the crispness of the HDR. The details really pop and the colors are nice and bright. It looks very naural and not overdone.

Nice work Peter, great to see your work again. Last time in Queenstown for me was my honeymoon 30+ years ago, must get back there some time.

Hey Andrew. Yes I am still alive and kicking. Got diverted onto other projects but recently re inspired to do more HDR stuff and a bit of posting. Looking forward to seeing some of your postings come up, I always enjoy your work.

Catch you soon.
