More Waterfalls

While in Brevard, NC. over Labor Day weekend I had the opportunity to capture a few more falls. Here are shots of Looking Glass Falls, Triple Falls, and High Falls. The light was very harsh at High Falls but after a mile and a half hike I wasn't about to leave without some semblance of a photo. Triple and High Falls are in DuPont State Forest where the movies Last of the Mocigans and Hunger Games were filmed.

Beautiful shots! I'm curious Charles. What was the focal length setting of the lens that you used for Looking Glass Falls? It appears to be quite wide to have taken in as much terrain to either side of the falls. I shot the falls last October from what appears to be a similar vantage point in the stream but was shooting vertical format.

I am headed up there on Sunday and only hope I can get shots this good. I love waterfalls and plan on spending the day getting to several of them if possible.

Falls are such wonderful subjects to shoot. You did a great job on them. I like how you put the pertinent info on the border.
