could you please advice me which macro lens is THE BEST, overall performance, heard Tamron AF is slow, does it matter?

If you go on the lens mfrs or sellers websites like Amazon, you'll usually find pros and cons in the reviews of lenses they're selling. What specifically do you mean by "overall" performance. I mean, it's a macro lens which has a pretty specific focus, so to speak (no pun intended) :)
