I have been trying research for a new dslr I currently have the Sony A77 ! I do a lot of sports mainly football and scenery plus portrait. I do not mind spending a bit of money if needed but on the other hand only want to spend what's needed. In addition looking for a camera where I can purchase some nice 2.8 high zoom glass. Lots of cropping and blowing up so pixels would play a part. I am not sure if I go with Sony A99, Nikon 810 or canon eos I hear a lot of personal opinions getting confused ?
Thanks

Sports, welcome to the Hog!
You get a sports camera, or you get big megapixels...., pick one....but you can't have both. I suggest a Canon 5Dmklll, it's the best of all worlds. Canon has the most and lightest of all the sports lenses.
Why are you gonna doubt the majority of all the pro sports shooters?! The wheel has already been invented, and so have the lenses to go with it!
Don't crop, learn to shoot!!!
Sports, again, welcome and good luck, especially with THIS question!!! ;-)

Welcome to the HOG. Check out the reviews on the Canon 7D MK II. It is supposed to be an awesome sports shooting camera.
Best of luck in your search.

How about Canon 1DX? The best sports camera around. Bab
Try the Nikon D750, there are also some new lenses that will cover your requirements. The 70-200 f4 is supposed to be good, it is light and can be carried all day (so I am told).

If you own a Sony A77 you should have 10 frames a second as will as the A99. If you are looking for frames a second you already have one of the faster DSLR's out there. If you want better tracking then go with the Sony A77 II which have improved focus tracking combined with the 10 frames a second.

It's actually 12fps, but that's with sacrificing some control, such as exposure; 8fps with full control over everything.
The a77ii also has a much larger buffer than the a77, allowing a couple dozen RAW shots or RAW + jpeg, and about 60 jpegs in a burst at 12fps. I'm not sure how many at 8fps using a fast card. I'll have to try mine now to satisfy my curiosity.
BTW the Canon 7Dii shoots at 10fps with full control (one of the few bragging rights my buddy has about his that beats my a77ii.)
Or pick up a Sony a6000 for 11 FPS. Amazing camera.
