I bought this pack at at our local PHOTO Barn store before it closed. The tags are still on it, but its more back pack than I need. check it out at www.naneupro.com ...Make me a reasonable offer.
Military OPS Alpha
Keep all your gear safe with our Military Ops Alpha. Made of water resistant 1680D ballistic nylon, YKK zippers and a removable, padded camera insert, as well as padded, ergonomic shoulder straps and waist belt, Alpha is a lightweight backpack that weighs a mere 3.85lbs.

The camera insert is hidden in the back side and is capable of holding a DSLR with up to an 8" long lens attached plus up to 5 small lenses, or two long lenses, and a flash. Velcro holds the floor of the top compartment in place so it may be removed, along with the camera insert, to use it as a daypack without carrying photographic equipment.

The Alpha backpack features 12 ready-access pockets to keep all your gear organized. The removable insert allows you to change the Alpha from a photography bag to a travel backpack, making the Military Ops Alpha one of the best all-around travel backpacks available. With a side tripod attachment system, cell phone compartment, and a rain cover, the Alpha lends itself well to any adventure.

The Military Ops Alpha design is made to look less like a camera bag and more like a casual backpack for security purposes, with a back opening system for the camera compartment. I cant find yhe rain cover they describe.

I bought the bag at a close out sale at Photo Barn as they were going out of business. I paid $100. their retail was $129. I will take $75 for it, again I have looked all over the bag for the rain cover and it's not there. Probably can pick up one at Naneu Pro. Pack has these big padded straps and waist belt and is designed for serious in the woods stuff. If I go in the woods I will have a crew of porters to carry my gear. Too old with bad knees for that anymore.

Good luck with that! I would probably never see my gear again.

Only if its full of good quality gear. When I go out to shoot on the street my Kimber custom 45acp resides in a shoulder holster. Just in case..

You guys are killing me! Really, this should be on Letterman.

The case sounds good, and I'm lookin for one, however, if I got one that large and filled it, it would be too heavy in no time. No crew, no grandchildren and I weigh 108. It sounds like a good bag for people who want to fly a large amount of equipment and then carry smaller parts on a shoot/hike.

Actually it's quite handy, my canon D5Mk2 with lens, and 3 other lens, plus flash, poncho, tripod will strap to outside, plus lunch, will fit nicely. It has these incredibly comfortable straps and waist band. You will hardly know it on your back.ee the web site for photos. It's a great buy! Really it's made for someone who is 108 lbs and not old and 230lbs.
