..and the ISS.
It's a little hazy, but that's Michigan.
I took the shot in early June, so I missed the conjunction, but the kick is good! :-P
I'm curious what the Hoggers think of the focus on this pic?

It's pretty good Bruce. It is impossible to get pinpoint stars in long exposures on a tripod. So what you have done is really good.
Love the ISS, good touch.

Yep, the focus is fine!

Thanks Craig for looking and commenting. Focus with my Tokina 11-16mm is easy, but this is a Sigma 30mm @ f1.4, a bit more challenging.

Thanks Bloke, as much as I like shooting at night, it has it's challenges.

The focus is fine. If you blow it up realy big, you can see tiny star trails, but they are in perfect focus.

I don't see anything wrong with that shot, Bruce.
It's beautiful.
Impeccable timing on the fly by.

I agree with Jim H. And if you look at the leafless tree too you'll see it's in perfect focus.
The other tree leaves are moving in the breeze.
My Tokina 16-24mm too is a very snappy Lens.

Thanks again Craig, the dead tree is compliments of the Emerald Ash Borer, I really need to cut it down.

I have my own struggles with focus at night, too! It's easy to get 'close', but sometimes that isn't enough...
