Thanks for posting Jerry. Great stuff. Now I can understand how some of the underground train stations took on their design.

Thanks, this is a portion of London that just adds to it's mystique. These could also have served as bomb shelters, I suspect.

It's amazing how much is underground but ignored. I have an interesting book, London Under London.

Actually, during World War 2, the tube stations did serve as bomb shelters. I do not know about the water cisterns.

Since it must be totally black down there, I'm guessing he uses lightpainting. With the camera on a tripod, light up one section, then another, then another...

What makes these clowns think that because they have a camera they are above the law and needn't respect private property? This is the kind of crap that gives all of us a bad name.
