Sweated a few bullets getting these today. I was intending to shoot the Mahonia (Oregon Grape) that is in bloom, but the bees made a better subject. Only problem, you guessed it, I am highly allergic to bee sting. Glad I have Image Stabilization, I was shaking. :lol:
Getting perfect focus on a flying bumble bee's eye is not an easy trick. I asked him to wait, but he wouldn't stand still. I missed, but not by much.... Considering.

lot of bee hives died this year from starvation warm weather an no pollen earlier seen on news
