All of your troubles fade to the back of your mind as you Enjoy the Beauty around you and live in the present. This is what a Vacation is all about. There are other places like this;Yosemite;Zion;Bryce Canyon and a 100 more.Pack up the family or that Special Person in your life and go see them you don't have to spend a whole lot of money.I sound like a travel agent but IM not. Deer Creek Falls 80 ft high. This is rt.along the river most of the outfitters stop here for lunch.then you get to go swimming. this is also the start of a hike up deer creek to another set of w/f about 4 miles r/t. this is at mile 136.

This is Natl Canyon a slot canyon about 1 mile in. alot of bolder hoping to get here.this is at mile 167.Havasu Creek is at mile 157 if you hike 7 miles up that creek you can get to Havasu Falls from the river;however it is illegal to enter tribal lands w/o a permit.

Yes it was a fun group.One of the things I like about going on a trip by yourself is the people that you meet on the trips.They come from all walks of life and from all parts of the world. Some are die hard campers and others have never done any camping at all.I have met alot of great people on my trips;some that I still keep in touch with today.
