This just goes to show how the republican party acts just like the mafia to get what they want for big business in this case (ag, oil, gas, chemical plants, and any other big businesses) that are hurting the environment.

Interesting, not one word of this law or the e-coli problem in the mainstream or local news. So far.

Look at Wyoming Senate statute SF0012, its pretty clear. The Casper paper may not want to publish this info in fear of starting an uprising. Here is the PDF for download:

Now maybe you should read the law instead of what others have written about what it says.

I heard about this on my local news, both radio and TV. This was passed to protect farmers and ranchers from the EPA. They have been trying to require ranchers to fence off all wetlands from livestock, while at the same time, blaming feedlots for global warming because of the methane that cattle emit. The EPA recently proposed stopping farmers from tilling their fields because of dust. Environmental groups lobby the EPA to increase their influence over agriculture.
This law was a states effort to protect its citizens from an over reaching federal government. I love Wyoming.

Was anything ever resolved about this law?

I was considering a move to Wyoming to pursue my love of nature photography.

My target areas are Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.

I wouldn’t let this nonsense affect your decision. Idaho passes similar stupid laws. I guess they make some contributors happy.
