Nikon 105mm Macro f2.8 D AF FX IF-ED lens + Nikon UV filter.

This camera was made in Japan, not Taiwan. Its mount is metal, not plastic. Its 9 blades yield a beautiful bokeh, making it an excellent portrait lens as well as a micro.

At approximately 12 inches from the target, the image is true 1:1.

Note that this is the D model which transmits focus distance to the camera and flash. This permits firing a ring flash within inches of the target.

I set on the counter all day but it didn't take anything to compare with his images! Rats! Cheap capitalistic lenses!
