Good photography shops

I have been reading some posts about bad Photograph shops, and noticed that they weren't named & shamed. This seems a pity not naming them.
I go to an excellent photographic shop in Auburndale Florida (I am not naming them in case it is against forum rules).
This a family run business, no pressure sales just good honest advice.
Yes I probably pay a little more, but the service more than makes up for it.

Spartan photo center in Spartanburg sc . Photo shops don't get any better than this one.
I enjoy going to my favorite camera shop great service and advice
My favorite camera shop is Bernie's Camera Clinic in Moorhead, MN. It looks like a non-descript older house, the sidewalks are barely shoveled when it snows, and you would likely pass it by if you hadn't been there before.
Great collection of old cameras in the "showroom", and Bernie is great with the service. He usually asks an embarrassingly low price for his services, and I usually pay him more than he asks.
There one camera store that is family run and has several shops in the area. However, not all employees are equal in knowledge or experieince. I only buy from two employees and really only talk with them. My point is find those people that will not push you but talk with you. I have grouping for camera store employees; over 90% of them are "point and shoot", they just want to make the sale and move to the next person. Then the others, less than 10%, are "SLR", they will take time to listen to you and make helpful comments, even if you do not buy anything that day.
Service Photo Supply in Baltimore rocks!!!
Camera World in Birmingham, AL is excellent!

southern photo supply in Melbourne florida, and jiffy photo in ft pierce florida are both good.
I had a couple of very good camera shops in my town but they've been put out of business by the big box stores.
Try to get some customer service from walmart or best buy, if you do find a employee in one of these places they have little knowledge about what your're looking for or asking about.
The same thing happened to a hardware store where I bought glass for my frames. There're now out of business and I'll have to start paying top dollar for a piece of glass or should I say my customers will have to start paying for it.
So true the big stores just put the local stores out of business I remember going to the lumber yard with my grandfather, The local hardware store, and the small department store. The people were friendly good service and they were are friends also

Since others are naming the stores--The stores I am referring to are Shutterbug stores in Oregon. We also have Ritz Camera stores and they do well with printing pictures.
Good Camera shops Adorama, B&H Cameta KEH
bad camera shops, anything in Amityville NY ending in BROS
(When I say BAD, I simply mean the employees are reluctant to put their ipads, Ipods, Phones, video games down and walk out to the floor and take cash from customers, ofcourse this is merely one former customers opinion based on 4 visits over 2 mionths. No subsequent visits are planned)
