What doesn't make sense to me:
You can look at anything you want in public spaces, but then you're probited from recording what you are seeing. Just doesn't seem logical.

Years ago, back in the film era, I was out taking photos, and I took some shots of a police car coming down the street. They pulled over, and got real aggressive asking why I was taking pictures of them, they work undercover sometimes, and don't want photos of them around. Like I was some kind of criminal out taking photos of cops so I could spot them if they were undercover. I was shooting into the sun, and I liked the way the light bar on top of the car was lit up by the sun behind them, and I explained that they would be too dark to be recognized inside the car. They finally let me go, like they were doing me a favor.
