(and, for god's sake, stop climbing mountains!)

- FOr the serious geeks only! - You have been warned.

Yeah you lose a few fraction of a second over a lifetime!

So! This is why I feel older when I get out of bed each morning and things improve when I get downstairs to the coffee pot!!! Did you know that even though you think you are standing...or sitting still...you are actually moving in seven to eight different directions all at the same time. It's no wonder we get goofy sometimes!!

90 billionths of a second (and more) I could have endured if I had only lived in Death Valley over the years! Why didn't the government tell me this years ago? They seem to know everything.

Actually, all the motions cancel each other and (gasp!) the universe is vibrating around one's center... So when we decide to move downstairs, so does the universe but... How many universes are there exactly?

Damned, after thinking I could be the center of my universe I have to realize that the number of universes is infinite. :hunf: . I am less than a speck of dust in a god's eye... No wonder the big guys cries all the time if we are constantly irritating it/him that way!!!

Could our lives start when land in its/his eye and end when we are flushed out?

Yeah I know. I am nuts and "I need my meds" as some in conflicted universes like to say.

I like that idea. I always think of myself as the center of everything and to me....I am....so, what happens when two centers of universes meet? Is this how the Big Bang happened?? Jeez, and I thought that was just somebody knocking on the door!! And I guess I'll just have to try to age gracefully since I am not moving off my mountain any time soon. Shucks, maybe I should just go down to the flat-lands for rejuvenation and stop buying Noxema.

You got it right but not exactly as an explosion... :?
It happens all the time but not as one may expect...
How do you think reproduction works? From babies to seeds to...
Which means not all universes meet, even when trying (thanks god!)

Einsteins would be shooting himself here, if he was not already dead.

Somehow I never made the connection between universes colliding and reproduction. I thought if two universes collided the black holes at their centers would cancel each other out and they would cease to exist. Seeds germinate in the ground...how does that have anything to do with universes colliding?? I could probably understand universes colliding when two people fall in love...if I reeeeeelly use my imagination, but....

And nah, Einstein would get a laugh too if he wasn't too busy trying to make us understand red shift or something like it.

But it does make me wonder...if two black holes get close enough, can one swallow the other if one is bigger? And if they do, do they cancel each other out or does the larger one just get stronger? Or would they go into orbit around each other under the right conditions??

For what I understand of black holes you have the same reaction as magnets: Repulsion or attraction as those things appear to be polarized.
Don't quote me thought I can only make a wild guess as numerous other things can enter into play, like the reversal of magnetism in the smallest or worse, repulsion/rotation/attraction.
Either way, I am glad not to be in the middle of this cataclysmic event!

Interestingly enough, when galaxies colide they seem to create new objects, kind of a rebirth... We will see in a few billions years when the Milkway and Andromeda start their mating dance.

So, galaxies having babies??? You see the analogy is not so far off!

There is already a galaxy called Sagittarius colliding with us over on the other side. Might not take as long as one might think to see results...say Dec. 21.....man! am I ever planning a party this year!!!
