amhermanii Loc: Midland, MI

I have been into photography from about 1994 when I bought my first REAL camera. A Nikon 2002 35mm. I have since moved up to a Nikon D-90. I do a few weddings and such a year (mostly by word of mouth) and would like to start to get a little more serious about it. I have several pictures that I have been complimented on many times. Just looking to learn a few things here and maybe even help others.

Pic #1 really great, pic #2 a little photoshop to remove the hikers in the background would improve this picture. Don't know how high the peak on the left was but if it were shown in total with sky behind it would have been better.
Pic #3 really good, lose the date

picture 1 is by fat the best the sky is perfect and love how some of the ballons are lit. picture 2 crop out the piece of the next motorcycle on the left it is distracting. I would also have gotten closer to the motorcycle and filled your frame with it. There is the potential of a series of shots in just the details of the bike. pict 3 besides losing the date imprint I might have tried an even slower shutter speed to give the falling water more of a fluffy cotton candy look. All in all good job :thumbup: By the way I was rasied in Big Rapids and graduated from Ferris State. Where in Michigan are you? I miss elias brothers big boy, jays potato chips, and vernors.
