The compact Canon's PowerShot SX30 IS is always near at hand. Three random shots this week are 1) a white Morning Glory discovered while hiking along a nearby river, 2) a cheerleader at our local junior high school football game, and 3) while still three miles from town, its water tower was framed far in the distance, the rich glow of sunset sky behind it

All 3 are nice , especially the cheerleader shot.
Looks like you don't need a dslr anymore . Your megazoom saves you from closing in on the action and long walks. With so much distance how are you getting your exercise miles......
Greetings Mr. Fred. Oh, I still get plenty of exercise. It's just that now that I have a more versitile camera, I'm getting more photo opportunities. I also like the cheerleader shot. It's one of the few times I've actually gotten a photo perfectly composed with the camera, and didn't need to crop in PhotoShop. Thanks for the holler.
