Since people seem to like bird pictures here's a couple of my favorite. The woodpecker is out the window. As to the snake, some idiot turned it loose in one of our city parks and I had to go get it (I'm the naturalist). Somebody got to it before I got there. It ended up being about 6 feet long.

The python would not have made it this winter with below 0 temps. I like your bird photos.
Sweet woodpecker shot, cool that the heron was using beaver lodge (?) for resting spot. Sad about the treatment of the snake.

I was hoping that it was still alive so I could call animal control and let them deal with it.
Thanks. That poor snake would have never made it through last winter.
