No Jim very rarely use a tripod unless 5 images are needed as 5 are hard to take without some camera shake. I take 3 bracketed shots at f8 and f11 in bright light and repeat the procedure a few times in case there is movement between shots. Also will often take some at 1ev and some at maybe 1.5ev. So for this truck shot I might have 30 actual exposures but it takes no time at all to do and digital film is cheap! I just keep the set that I use and delete the rest.

Thanks, Valuable information for me. I have never done the true HDR although people sometime think I have with my result from other programs I use. Your results is inspiration to go to the other side.

Back to this picture, a regular shot of this, well exposed and in focus would never intrest me but using your magic it became a picture worth hanging.

Thank Jim It why I like HDR. An interesting eye catching picture can be made from mundane subject matter. OK I admit I do a lot of vehicles but a really boring thing like a Toyota Corolla can be brought to life with HDR.
Join me on the other side you may like it!!

HDR is really a way to bring out the details and beauty, and here you've done it in spades 💎💎💎💎💎
