Very nicely done!! I would 'personally' like to see the clouds darkened a bit more and the shadows under the driver's side and inside the front wheel well lightened up to bring out more detail...

With layers it could be done without destroying the excellent job you have done on the car itself. I could post a sample for you, IF you would like.

Not being a car buff I was not sure of the year. Thanks for letting me know and the kind comment as well. Just a lark to see if I could get a bit of the HDR flavor from a single image using plugins. Not too bad a start.

Feel free to give it a go. I would really like to see what your interpretation would be.

This would be my take, just adjusting the sky/clouds and then the shadows under the car and that super dark front wheel well.

I simply used your "HDR" version as a base, then added a layer where I made the adjustments. Then moved my adjusted layer to the back and used the background eraser to remove the original sky and shadow areas from the original layer.

Nice job. However I really do not care much for the color casting happening in the parking lot nor the sky. I do like the darker sky. As far as the wheel is concerned, I did not really see anything of interest in the wheel well so left it dark. Your interpretation really brings out the detail there.

Just a little sample of working with layers, showing what variations are available. Some like it, some don't. I don't personally like it for the entire image either.

I remember seeing them around as I was growing up. Always did like the two toned cars of the 50's and 60's. They were built like tanks back then too. Thanks for the nice comment and two thumbs up.
