This little church stands near Todd, NC. I am showing the +0EV exposure for each from a 5 exposure sequence taken 1 EV apart.

Lovely work. Second shot is phenomenal.Roof on the steeple shot is maybe just a little over cooked for my personal taste and could do with pulling back a little. Peeling paintwork and bell detail is superb.

Thanks for the feedback and kind words Billy. Here is a version with the roof toned down a bit.

Maybe it's just me, but in shots 2 and 4, it looks like the whole church is leaning to the left, and/or there's a lot of lense distortion, which as you undoubtedly know can be corrected with the perspective tool in Photoshop.

This is my first visit to this section and I really like what I see - so, I'll be back, with lot's of newbie questions. I hope I don't drive you all nuts.

There is lens distortion, shown by the trees on the extreme left and right of the photo. However I have the feeling that the old church is leaning left as evidenced by the vertical tree growing behind it.

Yep, it's just you. :D Seriously it was a matter of which vertical you wanted to make vertical. This is an old church which is far from square in its old age. My point of vertical reference in PP was the left corner of the church or the left of the steeple. I was using a 17-35mm lens and did not want to change the perspective this lens gave because I liked the perspective it gave. Kinda personal choice here. Thanks for looking and your comments.
