I've seen many post about others like B & H but i have never seen anything about Beach Camera. Has anyone at UHH dealt with them and what was the outcome.

I bought a camera from them in 2007. It was a routine, boring, transaction (the way it is supposed to be). Seven years ago, and I'm still on their mailing list. My experience is that often their prices are unremarkable, but you can see that for yourself.

I have purchased a few cameras from them, some through Amazon, others directly. I found them to be very helpful.
They have a 45 day return policy and I have successfully used that past the 30 days.

Once I had a camera over 45 days and they were willing to take it back unopened and let me purchase something else.
I kept the camera.

They often have good prices and usually bundle the camera with memory cards, small tripod, an extra battery etc. Check them out. The Sony RX100 m3 and the Canon Powershot SX 60 had such bundles for the same price as the regular retail price.

Hope that helps!

They have a store close to my house. I've purchased cameras and equipment from them. smooth transactions. I find the customer service better at B&H. B&H is my go to store for camera equipment.

Thank you all for your input. I have used B & H in the past but the last time I had used Beach Camera and I did not have any issues with what I had purchased which it was a bundle and some of it I would classify as junk, but the camera is excellent, of which was a Sony a7R and an FE 55 f1.8 prime lens... I will probably next time go back strictly to B & H. Again thank you all for your input.

Bought a camera from them several years ago. Never had a problem w/ the camera so i cant comment on return issues, etc... no issues w/ billing. Im pretty sure the camera arrived earlier than they predicted. Gary

I purchased many items from over the years, however when the Tamron lens came out costing $1069 and free shipping. i ordered one and low and behold they charged me shipping because my invoice was at $1099. I immediately cancelled the order and have not business with them since.

I bought from them years ago, I had no problem. I've actually seen their store on Route 22 in NJ.

I ordered a Tokina 100 mm macro from them that was on back order . Very pleasant experience from a solid company with a great reputation. You can also check their sister company, buydig.com. They sometimes have different prices-often lower. Paid 409 .oo at the time, free shipping.

Did you call them and ask "how come?"?

I bought a Sony Nex 6 bundle from them in early 2013. I had shopped the price, and theirs was the lowest. The transaction and service were excellent.
