Republican control of Congress will break gridlock

Harry Reid has not allowed Republican amendments to bills. He hasn't allowed bills that originated in the House to go through the Senate. Obama also has been unwilling to work with Republicans, and has not even met with many high ranking Democratic Senators. These two men are directly responsible for what has been known as gridlock. Mitch McConnell has said that he will work with Democrats, allowing their amendments and bills. Obama has now called Senator-elect Perdue (R). The writing is on the wall....he'll have to work with Republicans now. Gridlock is broken.

This will only be gridlock for two more years. It will turn the e*****rate totally against the repubs. Hillary will be sitting pretty for 2016! :D

The Dems were in full control of congress in 2006 and the economy plummeted not long after that, yet the Dems still won the Presidency. The Rep can do the same for 2016, Hillbilly hasn't gotta chance. :)

You have already said this in a number of different threads. Does this mean anything are is it your way saving face? THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN! Remember that line from the last e******n. Harry was block bills to make the president look good and the republicans look bad. As it turns out, the president looks bad - really BAD! Any the republicans are back in power. Now, if the president still don't want to work with the republicans, he will go down as the worst, most unpopular president ever.
