This is a mural on one of our down town building. This partial of one depicting local history and people. At least one should be recognized if you are over fifty.

Yes he was a native son and the lady below him, reading to children is Verna Sharp, the author of the school book, Dick and Jane as well as other books. Grandpa Walton name was Will Geer.

Very nice. There are a number of buildings in my small city (or town if you want to call it that) that have murals painted on them or have coverings over windows with murals painted on. I think it adds a nice touch. Even helped draw tourists here when it was done.
