I am thinking about printing one of these two images and can not decide which would make the better presentation as a single image hanging on a wall. Which one would you hang?
Any suggestions to improve these images is happily received so please feel free to comment.

I would print both, but if I absolutely could only print one it would be the second photo. That's because of the water splashing.
Both are great photos. The second one is special.
i think i'd go with the search shot. the strike is dramatic, and conveys action, but the reflection is better in the search image, and it feels more artistic.
Oh, and it would be the lightened version of Strike.
I agree. I would print both.

Just to make life interesting I added the third image, but only in the lightened version.
Which version do you like the original or the lightened one?

Sorry I did not have the lightened version up when you first looked and now I have added a third picture, possibly changing the decision.

I'd make a tryptch of all three, actually. That's what would tell the story. Otherwise, the individual shots are just part of the story.

I was looking at 11X14 for a print, but I guess they would do well in a frame matted for 3 5X7s or something similar.

ligtened version All three aranged on a wall to tell a story. these are great thety are crisp love the reflection of the bird and snatch is just perfect. Any time you can present a series of photos that tell a compelling story you gotta go for it.

I agree a series of all three would be great.. I really like the reflection on #1. And I like the slightly darker shades of the originals myself. Great work... 3- 8x10's would make a nice grouping on a wall upr along a stairway. Great shots

It sounds like I need to print all three and tell the story, I have done this with another set so it should work well. I will test print one dark and one light in a smaller size then determine which one to go with.
Honestly I'd print all 3 as well, however, I prefer the dark ones as it gives more contrast and your subject seems to "pop" from the frame. Love them!

i have thought about it some more and now think the darker ones. the background isn't exciting so the darker ones put the emphasises on the bird and makes him pop. Hey i can be deciseve sometimes maybe maybe not ....

I tried printing the darker image and the shore line gets very mirky and the image washes out on paper. Many prints later I am stating to lean towards the images in the attached print. I put them together to tell the story, so what do you think?
Great Egret (Triple Image)
