The full super moon rose as my corn field caught the last rays of the setting sun this evening.
The first one was only visible for maybe 2 minutes before it rose behind the cloud bank. I was standing on the top step of a six foot step ladder out in the corn field in order to get above the tall corn. I used the Photographers Ephemeris to know where to place the ladder in the field ahead of time.
The second shot was while the moon played hide and seek behind the clouds.
Harvest moon over the corn
Full super moon peeking through the clouds
These shots are so pretty!
Love the first one!
Thank you Pam and Linda. Actually a friend of mine was shooting tonight also. I encouraged him to join UHH, now I just need to get him to post one of his shots. (we took turns standing on the ladder.)
I love them both, they are so beautiful!
Great, the first one's a beauty
Thank you RE and Cornish.

Wonderful shots. Really like the first one!
Very very nice. I like how you took them....Rich
Just beautiful, Greg! Love the first one...maybe I'd crop off a little of the bottom, but it's a phenominal shot and very well done!
