Trains and something old

Liver Steam engine: Lot of stuff going on in back ground. So used a Blur tool so only the engine was bright

Old mine Town: Lot of junk around this old mine town. So a bit more trimming then I would have liked. This site is about 100 miles south west of Vegas.

Trail Marker. Found this on a name less off ramp. I'm thinking somewhere between state line and Baker Calif

Very nice shots! I especially like the second one, although I love trains. Cheers.

We LOVE that drive along the old Kelso road (part of the original Rt. 66 south and west of Stateline. When we come home from Stateline we always go this way. The Joshua trees and the cactus as well as the old roadside building are a favorite shooting spot.. Here's another OLS place along that state highway...

JayPat: I was looking for locations for of my low budget movies and found this place. It was quite creepy place, kind of a dead town. I got out of my car all happy and walked down main street and found myself alone. The more I walked the more I wanted to leave the place. I think there was some type of mining operation maybe 5 miles behind where this picture was taken. Looking back at it now and I see the town was just right for my movie Dancing with a Werewolf.

Teri O: Did you happen to read my posting about the man, women and the blue Jeep? They would be just on the other side of Kelso Dunes (between Kelso Dunes and the the road to Vegas (15))?

I walked away from the Hollywood scene a few years ago. Now I just write and then copyright and leave them for my grand kids. To much other stuff to do, like taking pictures (one at a time).
