You point out a great conundrum! One has to weigh the balance between a large plant that is not too beautiful either. For us photographers the good thing is that they are usually in areas that they are probably the most interesting thing to photograph.

I saw 2 on Saturday while out of town for the weekend and photographed 1 of them. They are huge. Nice photos

Photos of wind turbines remind me of clean energy "possibility" and creative thinking. I would trade the view of any nuclear power plant and all their risks (Japan) for a field of wind turbines any day. They are beautiful to me. How about some more?
