#2 is great! When I first saw these, my right hand started to twist the mouse... I have some very similar pictures from the other side of the continent on US1

Willie, #2 is really nice. Thanks for the before and after shots. Did you do this in photoshop or another program.

The PP was done in Paint Shop Pro. Mainly adding a clarity and vibrancy boost. A bit of sharpening.

Nice HDR. . .

But, too much 'scenery' for a 'motorcycle shot' - to much 'motorcycle' for a 'scenery' shot.

IMHO, of course.


This trip was with a group (3 of us) and was probably the most spectacular site we had the whole week. It tried to represent what we saw as riders as a group. Typical shot for a ride report which I did in my blog. Here's one without the bikes.

I'm partial to the third HDR. It has less haloing, and less of a painterly appearance. It could use just a touch of contrast to it.

I tend to agree with SoHillGuy and would also straighten the horizon.
