YABAN - Yet another Bridge At Night photo.

Yed think I had nuttin' better to do than wander all over south Jersey in the Pitch Darkness...

Where the Chester Ferry used to run to New Jersey, the torn down and dismantled Bridgeport ferry terminal is chock-a-block full of old pilings, mammoth chunks of concrete and sections of yard-wide rusty old piping. I could not get a clear shot at the bridge just a couple hundred yards upriver, without putting myself in peril of falling in the Delaware. Hence the frame of tree branches. Sorry.

The other side is the ancient metrop. of Chester, heading up towards the Philadelphia Airport just a few miles up the road.

Canon 10-22 Lens, 30 seconds, f/6.3, Tungsten WB.

Very nice. I kind of like the tree in the upper right but I'm not too sure about the bush or whatever it is on the left bottom-it kind of breaks up the bridge. Great clarity.

I like the bridge shot. The reflections are nice.
I live in North Wilmington, DE and take the train under the bridge every day.

Thanks, all - ksgcslater, that dumb branch on the bottom left was growing up between two huge chunks of concrete, and in the dark, I just couldn't see myself clambering around on two slippery, tilted, chunks of concrete and re-bar, three miles from the nearest road, in the middle of the river. One slip and they'd be gaffing my bloated corpse up somewhere around Newcastle, Delaware. I just could not get a really good angle anywhere there, that wasn't blocked with tree limbs or something.

Well done Jim, I like it a lot. Maybe you could go back in the daylight with a buddy and a handsaw to improve the night view?

Great shot. You might want to think about adding a chain saw to you equipment bag. That will take care of those pesky tree branches. :D
