I got this idea in my head that I could make a lamp shade that would hold my pictures and let them be lit by the lamp. This is the result. The design of the lampshade frame was not as straightforward as I expected, but after several false starts, here is the result.
The base of the lamp was made from some cherry scraps given to me by a woodworking friend.

this is the result.

Skillfully done. What are the images printed on?

That's pretty cool.

That would make great prop in a portrait if staged right.

Very nice idea and execution. I would suggest an LED daylight bulb as it emits no uv and would add realism to the images.

ab, I had a bunch of cherry scraps I was going to use for a lamp, but my wife used them to make a pie instead!!

Thank you. they are printed on Red River Pearl metallic. That question is the most often asked about the lamp.

Nice lamp, can you change to pics out? Thanks for your reply. Yes, I left a slot at the top because I knew that I would like to change the scenery once in a while.
