I shot the leaves early in sept of this year and the diner is from the morning we went to Gatlinberg we stopped to eat we were the only ones in there -
Very nice - you seem to have a good eye for colors, textures, and color. I like being close in the first and the perspective in the last. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, you have a good eye for perspective, composition and the colors and focus are wonderful. I love these. Well done.
love the lost feather pic, again natures art
well you cant go wrong if you are shooting Gods glory now can you ?
yeah thanks - i walked up on that at a local park and shot it and then began to see the real beauty in shooting all of the fallen leaves - i do some of them in watercolor and they make great pieces of art for the wall.
that is shot with a little hand held nikon L24 with 14 mp
i bought it to hold me over until i can purchase a new 35 mm digital - i have about 5 print film 35's i guess i may never use again - i am new to digital and totally hooked
i do have a canon 35 that is just a little work horse and i plan on using it for black and white print film - again thanks

Gorgeous shots.. don't you just love Gatlenburg in the fall (along with about a couple hundred thousand other people) The Smokys are an amazing place for photography.....
Do you remember the diner or where it was? I"m 2 hours from the Smokys and might look it up one day....
Another great place is the top of the Mountain in Chattanooga, Rock City.... especially in the fall.
I hope you will continue to share your talents with us.

roger im glad you decided to stay. us brothers in christ need to stick together. I can not sugest any improvement in either shot. love the colors patterns and textures. the diner is just perfect, you can almost here elvis playin on the jukebox. I think it would also look good in black and white.
The colors are amazing and i really like the story the empty diner tells but in the diner photo I'd crop it a little lower because you have the bottom of a light thats just on the edge of the top of the photo

Just keep in mind that its Peak Season and tons of visitors, but a breathtaking view. Hopefully we will get good color this year but it was a very dry summer and a lot of the leaves are falling already without changing. I'd love to see some pictures from your trip....... Safe Journey....
