Early Morning Look
Early Morning Preflight Stretch
Sure - I agree with you. To go even further it is not only birs that look better in the early am, but darn near anything that is shot outdoors. I realling a while back reading in National Geographic that they seldom even considering using any picture NOT shot at dawn or even 30to 40 minutes before the sun shows itself. The articale went on th say the only other time is at the end of the day. Your pictures are very nice indeed, thanks for sharing.
Very well done. Another way of captruing this "Early Morning" white balance effect I discovered quite by accident the other day. I was hiking down along the river on an overcase day and wanted just a tweek of fill flash on a perfectly white Morning Glory flower. So I set the White Balance for "Flash" then forgot to lift the on-board flash. What I got was a perfect "Early Morning" warm, creamy-yellowish cast. Now, I use the tecnique quite often. sometimes goof-up accidents happen for the best.
