Is it possible to change the shapes of you subjects? If so what is this process called? I have seen in magazine's how they change a model's body, I think, get tid of blemishes, change the skin tone. Am I correct. How is this done? Thanks.

all of that is done in post processing with many different ways to do them, cloning, softening, you can also "liquify" in photoshop..if you shoot in raw you can experiment quite a bit with tones etc, and not affect the original picture..good luck
