here are 3 photos from my ventures in the outdoors, critique is welkome
Okay - #1, cemetery - love them. Overall nice color except very bland sky - not blue, no clouds. I would try to get a little lower to get more of the stones and less of the sky unless you have an inetresting one. #2 - nice colors - good focus. Do not know if you do photo editing, but if you do I would clone the bird higher into the skyline -- the clouds seem to crowd it's flight. #3 - Is this a composite? The elk and backgroud appears to be two diffeerent pictures. #4 and should be #1 is - what I think is not really worth jack and I"ll bet you I can find some that would dispute everything I wrote. Enjoy the day and keep doing what you love. I have added some of mine that I also have issues with. All of course are invited to comment.

London Cemetery
Elk - yes Photoshop, ugly skyline
#1 is Arlington it was a bland day with no clouds as it was a rainy sort of day
#2 Was off the beach in southern California just as it was take right out od the camera
#3 the elk is only one single photo with a touch of sharpness
I dont not like to play with photos to mauch as I am a naturalist for the most part.
A touch of sharp and maybe a touch of contrast is basic
The cemetary I believe that I would have been kneeling near a foreground stone. This would add drama and decrease the conflict with the bland sky.
Other than that let me say that in my opinion the cemetary is by far the best shot.
After more than 40 years behind the camera I still am enthralled with the very dramatic shots
The London cemetary is ABSOLUTELY AWSOME
Thanks for the comment on the "London Cemetery", thanks to all for all the feedback. Cemeteries and churches are amoung some of my favorite. I would highly recommend both to anyone you likes history to visit these where ever you. There is a certian aura to them that lends itself to photography. Enjoy what the day brings - and if it don't work out there will be another - and if not, sorry about that.
