I spent 10 years flying around North America and only once in a 747. From Vancouver B.C. to Toronto. I was seated on the left side ahead of the wings on the lower level. I looked out and saw the engines and just couldn't believe how huge the intakes were. I was so used to looking out at 737 engines on most of the flights I was on.

If 747's disappear, I'll miss the top deck. It is much more pleasant up there than down below. The stairs are very good for exercise when flying from Melbourne to LA! 777's are not nearly an much fun.
